Weekly Update 1!


Hey there everyone! I've decided to start writing weekly updates for the last month of Dust's development, so stay tuned for more after this!

This week I wanted to talk about character building and some of my most recently devolved parts of it.

The player character’s of Dust are made of two main components, their role, representing how they interact with others. And their title, representing their ability’s in combat. And for today I want to talk about that first one, the role.

Outside of combat, characters will need to work as a team, and their role reflects their natural attitude towards, and method of teamwork. 

An example of this would be the lone wolf, a role that cuts off some of a player's ability to form bonds, a mechanic that allows two characters to work together. In exchange, the lone wolf is a master of physical feats and can fiercely defend those few bonds they have.
