1.03 UPDATE
1.03
- Modifiers have had their rules slightly changed and the description completely rewritten.
- Cultists can not make another cultist now.
- Grappler’s 2 syntax has been fixed (made a mistake when I made the sweeping changes).
- Frost veiler 2’s fill effect is now once per action.
- The guardian has had it’s ace updated.
- Strengthen and Mark have both been nerfed (especially at higher tiers) to prevent too much flat damage stacking. Reaper 2 has also been changed to compensate.
- Alchemist 1 has been rephrased to make its regenerating effect more clear.
- Hunter 1 is now more specifically if you “only” target an empty space.
- Warring Ascendant and Beastly Ascendant now trigger any new on deploy effects you get when you transform.
- Enchained 2 now stops the movement when the characters can’t move anymore to account for terrain.
- Earthquake now more clearly must alternate its pattern.
- Launch has been rephrased to only last for one turn to prevent them from being stunned in combats where there are more npcs than players.
- Duelist’s Ace has been given a lot of clarity that I just forgot to add.
- The duel in the action section has had a typo fixed.
- Mount has been changed, so it is always effected by AOEs that cover it.
- Ego arm is now phrased to better work around non-targeting effects.
- Attacks now ask you to choose a “target” to account for terrain, characters, and empty spaces.
- Witch’s attack has been rephrased.
- Antagonist Edges have been further codified as “Antagonist NPCs”, and in addition to their edge now gain 1 additional AP and can use “Improvise” as if they were a player.
- It’s now clarified that compound NPCs must share NPC Techniques, Tiers, and Effects.
- Hunter 1 now actually says that the trap is consumed, and it’s been given a buff due to very poor performance.
- Light Bender 3 now triggers the false sun at the end of your Turn instead of the start.
- The general term “Terrain” has been made more specific and split into two subgroups, “Obstacles”, that can be damaged and can’t be moved through, and “Fields” that are not Obstacles.
- Swarm Body 1 has been slightly rewritten and can now be destroyed by damage.
