Update [Beta] 1.5


Yo! This was another two week update, so I've got lots of new changes for y'all, mostly focused on enemies and their mechanics.

- The “Last Legs” authors note is inaccurate and has been removed.

- Last Hope 1 change.

- Dramaturge 1 is now once per action.

- Combos have been changed so that only one can occur per action.

- The Guardian Angle 1 syntax has been changed.

- More clarification has been added for how Wounds are taken.

- Finishers now do minimum [Tier x 2] damage.

- More clarification has been added for enemy Tiers and how they scale.

- Rules have been added for enemies taking Wounds.

- Bloodletter 2, Constrictor 3, Cryomancer 2, Chronomancer 2, Grappler 2, Feral Arcana 3, Flame Heart 3, Skirmisher 3, Martial Artist 3, Mana Blades 2, and Thunder Blood 3 have been given a small bonus to the user’s attacking Advantage.

- Responding with Stress now makes Rolls count as Partial Successes.

- Interact has been reworked.

- Clarification has been added to show that Dodge cannot make you avoid targeting.

- Bodyguard and Swarm enemies now target adjacent characters.

- Most enemies have had their Attacks changed to make multi-targeting more common or make the rewards more potent.

- “My Master’s Teachings” now gives a Teacher Bond instead of a Student Bond (oops).

- Opportunist 3 has been fixed to say Round instead of Turn.

- There are now alternate name examples listed under each non-modifier enemy’s name.

- Tension is now a universal rule and is included in narrative scenes as a way to set roll challenges.

- Antagonist Actions now only give players Influence the first time they’re used in a Scene.

- The Antagonist Action “Present Problem” has been reworked.

- Each outlook page has been given a title showing what the two Outlooks on the page represent and contrast each other on.

- New Antagonist Edge: God-Like.

- Assassin 1 rework.

- Gale Strider Rework.

- New Disruptor Technique: Chemist.

- Slight Ego Arm 1 change.

- Supernatural Deafness rework.

- New Antagonist Action: Threaten.

- Clarification has been added for “Centered Zones”.

- The “Turning The Dial” subsection of “Encounter Design” has been changed to be more specific.

- Slayer has been renamed to “Vagabond”.

- legion now has a different amount of damage taken when Fodder is defeated.

- About a half page of text has been added to each of the “Worlds Of Dawn” subsections.
