Update [Beta] 1.6


Another delayed update, and one with a lot of changes, many of which coming from my recent experience as a player (something I rarely get to do since I run all the tests on the server, the main place I know games happen).

For this update, I've also decided to keep the past update downloadable on the Itch page in case people don't want to adapt to a new version in the middle of an ongoing game.

And that's about it before the actual changelog, thank you everyone who downloads!

- Braggart rework.

- Viper rework.

- Cultist rework.

- Hide can no longer be used after attacking.

- Fog Walker 1 change.

- Unbroken now uses the “On The Line” mechanic.

- Gourmand 1 rework.

- Iron Bodied 1 buff.

- Drunkard rework.

- Braggarts Tags have been altered.

- Modified Meister 1 rework.

- Inner World Rework.

- New Effect: Steady.

- Many DPS enemies have had their Aces reworked to use Root.

- Example Risks have been added for failing unstructured Challenge Rolls.

- Overpower Boon Rework.

- ““I’ll Handle It”” has been replaced with the “Spotlight” Boon.

- Cryomancer 2 nerf.

- Long Draw rework.

- “Simple and clean” has been replaced by the “Insolent Dissident” Boon.

- “A New Perspective” has been replaced with “The Lord’s Rite” Boon.

- Juggernaut 1 rework.

- Duelist stat buffs. 

- Stalwart Sentry rework.

- Runic Aegis rework (and rename).

- Stone Crusher rework (and rename).

- Aerial Ace 3 is no longer affected by Haste and Slow.

- Ranger Passive rework.

- Vanguard Defender 2 change.

- Servant’s Call has been moved to Bulwark.

- Bombardier buff.

- New Ruiner Technique: Zealot.

- Launch prevents movement.

- AOE attacks now add advantage to each target individually.

- Reapplying Effects now applies it again.

- Privateer nerf.

- Default EXP gain is now 2.

- Summons can no longer use Aces.

- Drunkard buff.

- New basic way to spend Influence, “Break Out”. This can be used to take non-Attack Actions outside the normal Turn order.

- Duelist nerf.

- Slight Fog Walker 1 change.

- All defensive Reactions can now be made Swift at the Cost of 1 Focus.

- New Antagonist Edge: Back-Stabbing.

- Cover has been removed (this includes reworks to all mechanics that mentioned it before).

- Finisher nerf.

- The base Attributes for Tier 1 characters have been increased.

- Enemy Health scaling has been reduced.

- Enemies can no longer attack twice on their turn.

- Enemies with 18 Health or more have had their Health reduced.

- Unstructured Tension has been reworked and made into the “Tense Scene” mechanic.

- The names of the Effects have been changed to their Adjective versions.
