Update [Beta] 1.7
Another very experimental update, and like before I've left the last version of the game up for download in case you don't want to convert games to the new version. This one includes the introduction of an Advantage Cap, a rework of Outlooks and how they interact with Bonds, and a new way to make rolls in unstructed play that takes less time and fewer dice for physical play.

- The max Rank for unstructured features is now 3.
- “Joel's Notes: Asymmetrical Character Building” has been rewritten to better match the current state of the game.
- Cultist rework.
- Cocoon passive nerf.
- Speed rolls have been removed.
- A new alternate roll type has been added, quick rolls.
- Cutpurse 1 nerf.
- Mana Numb rename/re-themeing.
- Launched is now removed when you start your Turn.
- Skill and Ability Attributes have been removed.
- Duels now continue if the target starts their Turn.
- Interact’s Mind requirements have been increased by 1 to match the new stat array.
- Swarm and Bodyguard buff.
- Legion rework.
- Martial Artist 2 rework.
- Player health reduction.
- Heavenly Saint nerf.
- Surgeon nerf.
- Shield Bearer 1 rework.
- An Advantage cap has been introduced, capping dice rolled at double the base dice.
- Many effects that effect Finishers have been altered to account for or sidestep the Advantage cap, since Finishers have inherent Advantage that fucks with it. These Techniques are as follows: Lancer 3, Breacher 2, Spellsword 3, Warring Ascendant 3, Technician 3, Distant Killer 3, Constrictor 3, Cryomancer 3, Street Fighter 3, Flame Heart 3, Void Soul 3, Thunder Blood 3, Student Of Stars 3.
- Rising Challenger 1 and 3 have been swapped.
- New Engine Enemy: Daredevil.
- Many enemy aces now let their use take a turn after.
- Shenanigans Bond Action rework.
- Quick Bonds have been added as a way to create Bonds mid-Chapter.
- The Confident’s “Pride” has been replaced with “Spite”.
- The Light’s “Friendly And Approachable” has been reworked.
- Three new Bond Actions: Exposit, Lead, Examine.
- Influential Actions have been replaced with “Favored Bond Actions”, due to the fact that in my play I found the gm bartering that came from it annoying and pace halting, and also to reduce keyword bloat. Favored Bond Actions are as they sound, Bond Actions that different Outlooks are more likely to use, they become cheaper because of this, but the main purpose of the feature is to bring Bond Actions closer to each player’s kit, making them seem more present and appealing to use.
- Many Aces that triggered on their user’s next Turn now trigger at the end of the next Turn in the Round.
